You do make a very good point that Einstein did not believe in God, but not all religions believe in an all powerful diety.
For instance, the quote:
"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. The religion which based on experience, which refuses dogmatic. If there's any religion that would cope the scientific needs it will be Buddhism...."
was directed towards Theravadin Buddha-Dharma (Lesser Buddhism) which does not believe Buddha was a god. Therefore it is a religion that can be fully accepted by the scientific community.
