1. Abortion
Personally, I have to say I am against abortion because a fetus, in my opinion and belief, is a life. However, there can be extenuating circumstances where the fetus is threatening the life of the mother. I know some women that have been in this position and it has nearly killed them. It is hard to make a choice between the life of the fetus and the life of the mother if you hold my belief.
2. Capital Punishment
: : I'm marginally FOR capital punishment, although I believe it should be limited to cases where there is irrefutable proof, lack of remorse and mass murders.
I have to agree with you here. Personal opinion.
3. Euthanasia
I'm FOR euthanasia, as long as the person knows what they want to do, I believe it is their own choice.
I feel the same way, although I would never consider it for myself.
: 4. Cloning
I am against cloning humans. Humans have a soul and are humans at the time they become a fetus in my belief. Therefore, to be consistant, I must say I am against cloning humans. It should be noted however, that I am suffering from a disease that will take my life and cloning is appearing as one of the plausible solutions to my problem. I still am against the cloning of humans.
Animals is another matter. They have no souls and are not created in God's image. I think we can clone them for food and other uses.
: 5. Religious View
I am a Christian. Period. Although I go to a Presbyterian Church of America church, I still follow in the universal (catholic) church more.
