Please.

Is it just me, or is everyone else confused?
Let me try and summarise for my own sake of mind, and anyone else can jump in and clarify.

You view God as your father.
Your also have a grandfather.
You love your grandfather like your father.(?)
You are going to someday become a father (God help us all)
You'll be exactly the same as your father. (?)
Just like God.
Everyone will eventually spiritually become like a father or mother. (?)

Now that's all very interesting as well as confusing but is there actually a point somewhere?
Is it meant to be some sort of great prophecy that we will all grow up one of these days?

I guess when the claim 'that God can't exist as he has no father' is phrased so broadly, than I shouldn't expect any better.

Why can't God exist without a father?
Is this some kind of blanket statement?
Is this like 'which came first, the chicken or the egg?'
Can you please attempt some kind of justification?

Anyone can just say:
My pants are blue!
Grass tastes like chicken.
I believe in God.

And its all very well and nice, but WHY?

See how upset I am, I've resorted to using capitals :(

Perhaps statements become true if we really believe in them with lots of exclamation marks!!!!

I won't get caught in a debate between evolutionists and creationists as there is no definitive way bar time travel that either theory can be proved conclusively.

Think of it like this.
Are we making God appear in our own image?
If so, than maybe God requires a father and a mother to come into being.
Then God would also theoretically need to eat, sleep and other stuff just like us?
Oh, forget it, this is like trying to use a chainsaw to cut bread :)

Cheers,

Ezekiel

: I view God much like I view my own Father. My Dad has a Dad. But that doesn't make him any less of a Dad to me. And When My wife and I have Children I will become a Dad. But I won't be any more of a Dad than My Dad was to me. So it is with God. He is our Spiritual Dad. When We grow up we too will be Dads and Moms of other Children... Revelations 3:12
: : I don't believe in god because god must have a father!!
