If the "problem" the person has with lying was a fear than it would be a "phobia" of lies. I know I have that problem -- I fucking hate liars.
And if the person couldn't stop from lying he would be called a pathological liar.
To have a problem and be called a maniac you would have to hate liars so much that you ran them down with your car. Then you would be a maniac. I hate liars but not that much.
My question for you is what kind of a liar are you?
