I told some new friends a lie to get out of doing something I didn't want to.I said my mother was very ill and I had to go see her. Now I feel bad, but too embarrassed to admit I lied. I@m not sure if they may have seen me when I was supposed to be in another town, what should I do? No ones been in touch and I'm worried I've lost my new friends. Is it a really obvious lie?
