Years ago I had a best friend that I was way in love with. I spent most my high school years hangin with her, gettin high gettin drunk. The entire time all the girlfriends I had were just to get my best friend to notice me. I thought she did not have any interest in me at all. Then when I turned 18 I married another woman that I really was not in love with (mistake???). On my wedding day my best friend drew me into the waiting room and kissed me and said she wishes it were her that was with me. (I was pissed.) Once I got married time was never available for us anymore, and to this day I regret takeing the wrong path. I miss her and have not tried to find her again (I may be thought of as some kind of freak stocker.) So 6 years have gone by and My feelings have not changed. So, I think when they say it gets better then they should say except if it was your soul-mate.
