: I like the thought that the knowledge of ultimate truth lies within the energy that surrounds us. I also agree that there's something keeping us from understanding what's really going on (which may also be the thing keeping us from peace). I'd add to your comment that I believe matter and energy are two sides to the same coin, such is black and white, positive and negative, heaven and earth, God and the devil, red wine and white wine, etc.
There is no such thing as the ultimate truth because in life there are no definitives. How are red wines and white wines opposite? They're still wine. Can't matter also possess energy? Can't there be shades of grey between black and white. Can't there be a medium between Good and Evil, God and the devil? I also agree there is something which keeps us from our full potential and that is sheer human ignorance and stupidity. Why must humans as a race always blame something else no matter how obscure for our faults? We are not perfect beings, we were not created perfect, we should not desire to be perfect. People who talk about good and evil are far removed from the real world. Humans aren't good or evil, we are merely human. If we do something bad, its not outside influence or the devil, it is our own personal responsibility. The longer it takes for ppl to accept that, the longer human stupidity and ignorance shall continue.
