Very Busy Lie

Clueless as I am, it took me the first 31 years of my life to uncover this lie -- and it wasn't by deduction. I read about it in a book -- one of those self-help books for the pathetic. Here's the lie: When a woman says she would like to see you -- she may even seem enthusiastic about it, but she is busy -- very very busy, and she will call you back some time when she isn't so busy.
